Water temps 58-62. With the lows in the upper 50s at night our systems are getting some relief from the heat of the dog days. This has really got the fish fired up to eat. We are in full terrestrial season. Bring your ants, beetles, hoppers, and cranes. The fish are moving long distances to eat a fly. This is the perfect time of year to get out and catch some aggressive fish. Remember on them days that the temps climb into the 80s, bring along a thermometer and check you water temp. Below 65 is pretty good fishing, above that, find some cooler water, there is plenty of it around.
Get out and fish!
