Fishing report

Water temps 56-62. With the recent rain, systems are clearing quickly and are recharged for the week. The cooler nights have really help to keep our water temps cool. This time of the year bring along a thermometer. Remember, Water temps at 65 degrees will result in poor fishing. Above 65 could be lethal to trout. That being said, there’s plenty of cold water. The fish are really keying in on terrestrials. Beetles, ants, smaller hoppers are getting them quite excited. There is a great evening hatch of caddis around. Sizes in 12-16 flies will fool fish. The night fishing has picked up tremendously. Handful of bugs still coming off every night. Large mouse and streamers and taking fish also.

Get out and fish.
